2018 Camp Dates

CAMPERS: Thursday, June 7 - Sunday, June 10

Counselors and Staff arrive on Wednesday, June 6.

Camp S.K.A.M.P. was started in 1971 for Special Kids by Meaningful People! These children suffer from physical challenges such as cerebral palsy (CP), spina bifida (SB), and similar disorders. Camp S.K.A.M.P. provides a unique experience for campers who are unable to attend other camps due to their special circumstances. ALL Counselors and Staff Members are volunteers! Campers attend camp at NO CHARGE to them. Counselors and Staff Members pay to attend camp, and the campers' expenses are paid by generous donations from our Sponsors.

Okay Camp S.K.A.M.P. people! We are fully staffed with counselors now it's time to kick that fundraising into high gear!! Sell those raffle tickets and remember monetary donations are tax deductible!! We of course accept certain donations as well please have anyone contact me directly that would like to donate goods! Camp runs upwards of $15,000 each summer!

Camp S.K.A.M.P. 2018 returning Staff and Counselors : Please turn in your forms ASAP !! If you are returning we sent out in the letter that you would need to renew your background screening yourself. We have learned this is incorrect! We will take care of the renewal! It is imperative that I have your forms, so i can access your information in the state database! New Counselors and Staff will complete their full fingerprints and then you will be set up for 5 years! Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions!
